Customer Service/Order Entry Assistant
- Optimize customer satisfaction with the Order Entry process through: Order Entry Process Quality (e.g., accuracy, effectiveness, efficiency). Information-provide order status information both proactively and in response to customer inquiries
- Continuously improve process effectiveness
- In coordination with Manufacturing, support systematic lead-time reduction
- Managing market pricing for all products, in coordination with the National Sales Manager and Marketing Communications. Maintain spreadsheets for pricing action decisions (i.e., competitive responses)
- Manage rep contracts, in coordination with the National Sales Manager. Use software tools to define U.S. representative territories
- Provide limited support for customer visits to the Price Technical Center (as appropriate). May include training and tours
- In coordination with Shipping Management, serve as a consultant to optimize the function of the finished goods warehouse stock, to serve customers and best utilize available resources
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure
- Ability to manage staff to optimize business processes, and to develop the organization for continuous improvement and self-sufficiency
- Ability to work effectively with senior level customers, company senior management, factory supervision, clerical staff, outside suppliers, and others in our industry
- Adept with office software such as Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheet, database management and presentation software
- Ability and desire to learn new software and apply it in improving business processes
- History of learning and applying new concepts to business process improvement
- Ability to plan and coordinate
- Ability to make sound and timely decisions
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Relevant Experience/ Skills
- 4 years’ experience of managing customer service
- MUST HAVE: 5+ years working experience in HVAC manufacturing environment
- Experience in sheet-metal industry a Huge Plus
